Maria Elena Bello

 Maria Elena Bello (born April 18 1967) is an American actress as well as a producer and writer. Her film roles include Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly (2000), The Cooler (2003), A History of Violence (2005), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008), Grown Ups (2010), Prisoners (2013), and Lights Out (2016). Bello was on TV as Dr. Anna Del Amico (1997-1998) and also in other roles that featured her as the star, such as Michelle McBride (2016 season) as well as Jacqueline Sloane (2017-2021) on NCIS. Bello was born on 18 April, 1967 in Norristown 2 to Kathy Bello who was an educator and school nurse. Bello also appeared as Dr. Anna Del Amico on the medical drama The ER (1997-1998). Bello also appeared in various other roles, including that of Michelle McBride on the first season of series Touch in 2013 and that of Special Agent Jacqueline Sloane in the series NCIS from 2017 to 2021. Her subject was political sciences at Villanova University. Bello continued to train in acting by participating in numerous New York theatre productions. Bello together with Dan McDermott is the proud mother of Jackson. Bello wrote in November 2013 about her similar-sex relationship with Clare Munn, and how it ended. The book she wrote was published, Whatever...Love Is LOVE: Examining the labels we give ourself. (Dey Street Books) on April 28, 2015.
