Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki was an American political advisor who served as the 34th White House press Secretary between 2021 until 2022. A member of Democratic Party, Psaki was previously the White House deputy secretary (2009), White House deputy communication director (2009-2011), spokesperson for United States Department of State 2013-2015, and White House communications Director (2015-2017). Psaki was a contributor to the election to CNN between 2017-2020. Psaki started her professional career in 2001 with the re-election campaigns for Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki was later appointed the press secretary's assistant in John Kerry's campaign for president in 2004. Psaki was communications director of Joseph Crowley, a U.S. Representative, and regional press secretary of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from 2005 to the year 2006. Psaki returned in 2012 to the field of political communications, serving as the press secretary of President Obama's 2012 campaign for reelection. [20] Psaki was named spokesperson for the United States Department of State on February 11 2013. [20] She was hired by the Department of State to fill the White House Press Secretary Jay Carney's position.[21] But, Josh Earnest took his place on May 30, 2014. She returned to the White House in 2015 to become the communications director. She was a part of the Obama administration until its conclusion.
